Coonan introduced the new pistol series, the Single Action Vault, which will be available on a first come, first serve basis from the gun maker.

The new, collector’s MOT-45 is chambered in .45 ACP. The pistol features a satin finish with polished sides. The pistol’s dust cover and slide tout a more traditional “Colt Cut” while the frame sports smooth walnut grips and a textured main spring housing. The pistol tops its design off with fully adjustable fiber optic sights.

“Our gunsmiths and engineers here at Coonan are always exploring new ideas, techniques, and design options, to provide our customers with the best product possible. Sometimes this exploration leads to shrugged shoulders and a pile of scrap metal, but sometime it leads to beautiful, hand crafted, one of a kind pistols that are just too special to sit in our vault,” Coonan said in a press release. “’Single Action Vault’ pistols will be available on a first come first basis and are ready to ship to your local FFL.”

Connan says the pistols are currently shipping to dealers with a MSRP of $1,680
