Thoughts on why standalone lights are still good for EDC (VIDEO)

Firearms instructor Steve Fisher of Sentinel Concepts discusses his feelings on filling your pockets for those unexpected low light situations.

In the above video put out by SureFire, Fisher talks about the benefits of a light that isn’t mounted on your handgun. Yes, he’s rocking shades, a 1911 in an OWB holster, and a subtle “I’m not a cop” look, but a lot of what he says makes sense.

“The gun will save your life but the light will save others,” says Fisher.
