Georgia criminal tries to rob former police officer’s house (VIDEO)

An armed criminal thought he had easy pickings in a quiet neighborhood in Newtown County, Georgia, but boy was he wrong. The house he chose belonged to a former police officer more than prepared to take on an armed suspect.

Carlos Wicker served as a police officer in DeKalb County, taking criminals off the streets, for 16 years, so when the robber ambushed him in his driveway just after midnight, he wasn’t worried. “I pulled my gun, I shot at him and he took off running,” Wicker said.
