Savage Arms continues to churn out new Modern Sporting Rifle models, announcing two new MSRs β€” the MSR 10 Competition HD and MSR 15 Competition.

Engineered to grant customization paired with precision to competitive shooters, the new rifles β€œensure unflinching accuracy when a match is on the line.”

The guns feature an 18-inch carbon fiber wrapped stainless barrel. Built specifically for the MSR, the barrel is a joint effort between Savage Arms and Proof Research. The barrel boasts a unique ported muzzle brake, allowing shooters to tune recoil impulse. This feature stabilizes the muzzle in order to allow for faster, more accurate follow-up shots, according to Savage.

The rifles also offer a nickel-boron bolt carrier, custom-forged upper and lower receivers, non-reciprocating side charging handles and a two-stage trigger. The design is topped off with a rigid, free-float M-LOK compatible handguard, anti-glare grooves, a QD mount and removable custom magwell flare.

The MSR 10 Competition HD comes chambered in .308 Win with a price tag of $3,449 while the MSR 15 Competition is available in .223 Rem and .224 Valkyrie with MSRP of $2,785.
