Apex Tactical will release an Action Enhancement Trigger Kit for the FN 509 and FNS model pistols come summer 2018, the company announced stealthily on its site.

The kits will include an Apex Flat-Faced Action Enhancement Trigger with Apex’s Trigger Bar and Apex Performance Sear. Apex said when installed, the Action Enhancement Kit reduces pre-travel, overall travel and trigger reset distance. Featuring a smoother uptake, the trigger boasts a crisp trigger break with reduced trigger pull set to approximately 5.5-pounds.

Apex says it will drop two kits in total, one designed specifically for FNS models (excluding the FNS 9c) and a variant created for the FN 509 and FNS 9c models.

In addition to the standard Action Enhancement Trigger Kits, Apex will also introduce Thin Blue Line Series versions of each kit. The Thin Blue Line Series offers a blued look with 25-percent of each sale headed to the non-profit Concerns of Police Survivors.

No word yet on the exact release date, but Apex hinted the new kits should make their way to consumers come summer 2018.
