Holosun unveils new micro reflex sights for rifle platform

Optics maker Holoson debuted new micro reflex sights, adding the HS503GU Elite and HS503CU Elite sights to its available optics.
Designed for the AR and AK platforms, the new micro reflex sights are created for a variety of applications to include hunting, competition and recreational shooting. The new optics fall under Holosun’s Elite series, featuring the company’s Green LED Emitter designed to provide high visibility in all conditions. In addition, the Elite series provides Holosun’s Shake Awake Tech which switches the optic into “sleep mode” after a pre-determined amount of time. The unit automatically “wakes up” a after movement.

Both sights boast a 65 MOA circle-dot reticle with 2 MOA center dot and 10 daylight, two night-vision brightness settings. The sights are parallax free with unlimited eye relief. Constructed from 6061 T6 aluminum, the micro sights are durable and can withstand temperatures of -22 to +140 Fahrenheit.
Sporting CR2032 batteries, the sights are powered up to 50,000 hours of use. The HS503CU Elite touts the added benefit of being solar powered, featuring Holosun’s Advanced Solar Fail Safe. The Fail Safe system operates the solar cell power, drawing from the battery only if the light source is insufficient.
The 3-ounce sights are available through Holosun with a prices starting around $320.
