Davidsons, a firearms wholesaler, announced new additions to its Ruger lineup, launching three new exclusive designs in Barrett Brown Cerakote.
Introducing the Ruger Precision Rifle in .308 Win and 6.5 Creedmoor and the Ruger Security 9 in Barrett Brown, Davidson’s said the move is meant to expand options to consumers looking for more than just basic black.
“The entire Davidson’s sales team and I are excited about the introduction of our newest exclusives in the popular Barrett Brown color, the new Security 9 and the Precision Rifle are great products,” Mike Massimo, Davidson’s vice president of sales, said in a news release. “They really look amazing in the Barrett Brown finish.”
The Ruger Precision Rifle features a 20-inch barrel in .308 Win and a 24-inch barrel in 6.5 Creedmoor. Utilizing a threaded muzzle design, the barrels are cold hammer forged with 5R rifling and sport Ruger’s hybrid muzzlebrake. The rifles are equipped with a 15-inch free-float M-LOK aluminum handguard, Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger, 20 MOA Picatinny rail and fully adjustable and folding Ruger Precision MSR Stock. Topping off the design are ambidextrous manual safeties. MSRP on the lineup in Barrett Brown is $1,599.
The Ruger Security 9 delivers a mid-sized, striker-fired pistol design with 4-inch barrel chambered for 9mm. A glass filled textured nylon grip frame meets a hardened alloy steel slide for a 15+1 configuration. Offering a high-visibility sight system with drift adjustable rear sight and fixed front sigh, the sights can be changed out for different color options — sold separately. The Ruger Security 9 in Barret Brown is priced at $397.
