The limited run Freedom Edition triggers feature a stars and stripes theme, adding a little patriotism to any pistol. Previously, Apex offered the Freedom Edition in blue and red, but has expanded the color offerings to black for a more subdued color scheme.

The black Freedom Edition offers trigger kits for the M&P M2,0, M&P, Shield 2.0, Shield and Shield 45, Glock Gen 5, Glock Gen 3/4 models as well as the Walther PPQ. The black series comes in both the Flat-Faced Forward Set Sear and Trigger Kit in addition to the Action Enhancement Trigger and Duty/Carry Kit.
