Berger launched a new 7mm rifle bullet, debuting the 7mm 184-grain F-Open Hybrid Target bullet specifically designed for F-Open shooters.

Designed by Berger’s ballistician, Bryan Litz, the new bullet is slightly heavier and longer with a more aggressive shape. This construction gives the new 7mm bullet a “ballistic advantage” over the existing 7mm 180-grain Hybrid and VLD Target bullet released in 2017 in collaboration with the U.S. F-TR Rifle Team, Berger said.

“The United States Rifle Team 2021 F-Open is extremely excited about the release of the new Berger 184gr F-Open Hybrid. Many members have tested the prototype bullets with outstanding success,” U.S. Rifle Team Captain Dan Bramley said in a news release.

Berger said in order to support Team USA, the company will donate $1 for every box to the team to help fund the trip to the 2021 F-Class World Championships in South Africa.

The new 7mm 184-grain F-Open Hybrid Target bullet can be loaded for 7-08 Rem, .284 Win, 7mm SAUM, 7mm RUM, 7mm Rem Mag as well as other popular 7mm cartridges. Available now and shipping 100 bullets to a box, the 7mm 184-grain F-Open Hybrid Target bullets retail for $61.
