Traditions Outfitter G2 and 450 Bushmaster models now shipping

Traditions Performance Firearms announced its latest rifle, the G2 Outfitter, is now available in a variety of calibers with the models now shipping to dealers.

Leading the charge on the new models is the .450 Bushmaster variant featuring a Quick Detach Forend. The design allows the forend to quickly be removed from the rifle with a push of a button. The construction is meant to make disassembly, cleaning and inspection easier. The G2 Outfitter is also available in 45-70, 35 Whelen, and 450 Bushmaster come with a muzzle break to reduce recoil. Available in 450 Bushmaster, .35 Whelen, 45-70, 35 Rem, .44 Mag and .357 Mag.

Touting a 22-inch Lothar Walther hammer-forged, premium-fluted barrel, the Outfitter G2 delivers a lightweight design that Traditions says its easy to tote on the go. The break action rifle includes an 11-degree target crown and is ideal for whitetail and large game hunting for hunters of any size.

“The point of balance has been moved rearward to accommodate smaller framed shooters,” Traditions said in a press release. “This rifle is one of the safest on the market thanks to the transfer bar system and the trigger block safety.”

The Outfitter G2 comes in both a standard configuration as well as in scoped/case packages. The rifle is priced between $439 and $586.
