Midwest Industries is a small company that’s made a big impact in the gun parts world. They seemingly have a part for nearly all makes and models of guns. Ryan Hale, Customer Support and Sales for Midwest Industries, told us “We dabble in just about everything. We have your AR parts, Galil parts, MCX parts, SCAR parts, parts for parts.” Odds are if you’re looking for a part Midwest Industries probably has it or sells it on their website. Not everything is necessarily straightforward either, they have some exotic stuff you’re not bound to find anywhere else. Not pictured in the video was a Henry with a Midwest Industries handguard on it. “The purists will say it’s stupid, but they haven’t shot one of these with our handguard on it. It shoots like a completely different gun and it’s much lighter,” Hale said.
But niche products like handguards for lever guns isn’t where the company made its bread and butter. “This is the year of the AR for us,” said Hale, noting that the company is getting back to its basics and what they are as a company. One of the new innovative designs for the AR platform would be their new combat rail. “Anybody can be a certified armorer with our new handguard,” said Hale, who then proceeded to show us just how easy it was to install one of these. In four easy steps he installed a new handguard right in front of us in under five minutes.
The company has made a big sacrifice by sourcing and manufacturing everything in the USA. It would have been cheaper had they gone with sourcing their material overseas somewhere but they wanted to maintain that 100% made in the USA standard. They are so committed to making quality products that they put a lifetime warranty on everything they make. All of this is backed by really great customer service, something which the company prides itself on. They want to be able to get the right parts in the right hands. If you have a question or want to talk to them a part they don’t have head on over to their website and you’ll find someone to talk to about your next build.

Marlin once claimed their Model 39 as the eldest continually produced, shoulder-fired rifle of all time. Though that record ended when the Marlin brand was parted-off to Ruger, the rimfire world is anticipating a return of this classic.
