Midwest Industries comes at consumers with a new set of M-LOK style handguards, introducing the Slim Line Handgaurd.

Also known as the SLH, the handguards are available in 9.25-, 10.5-, 12.625-, 14- and 15-inches in length. Each length varies in weight and is constructed from 6061 aluminum with a type 3 hard coat anodized finish.

The SLH features both a MIL-Standard 1913 Picatinny top rail in addition to three sides of M-LOK slots. The design is topped off with two anti-rotation QD sling sockets. Midwest Industries says the handguards install with ease, forgoing heating of parts, timing of barrel nut or any fancy fasteners or shims.

“With the new installation hardware these handguards are one of the easiest to install and will not pull off or rotate even under extreme conditions,” the company said in a statement published on AR15 News.

Designed for budget minded consumers, the SLH line of handguards is priced between $140 and $160.
