TangoDown introduced a new accessory into its Vicker’s Tactical series, launching the Vicker’s Tactical Slide Stop for Gen 5 Glocks.

The Vicker’s Tactical Slide Stop aims to enhance the performance of the newest generation of Glock pistols, offering a positive slide lock and release. Constructed with deep serrations, the slide stop provides easier manipulation — even with gloved hands.

Utilizing a precision stamped design from 4130 chrome moly steel, the slide stop is heat treated and topped off with a non-glare black finish.

TangoDown recommends buyers have the part installed by a gunsmith to ensure optimal performance. (Photo: TangoDown)

“When the Gen 5 Glock models were released one of the most noticeable areas for improvement was the ambidextrous slide stop,” TangoDown said in a press release. “The VTSS-003 offers a design which allows for positive slide lock and release even in the most unfavorable conditions.”

Measuring 1.64-inches and weighing 0.8-ounces, the Vicker’s Tactical Slide Stop fits the Gen 5 Glock 17, 19, 19X, 26 and 34. TangoDown recommends that buyers use a reputable gunsmith to ensure the slide stop is installed properly.

The Vicker’s Tactical Slide Stop for Gen. 5 Glocks is available through TangoDown with a price tag under $30.
