Pharmacist uses wheelgun against pair of armed robbers (VIDEO)

A Maryland pharmacist on Monday upset the plans of a team of would-be robbers after he confronted them with his own firearm.

The Princess Anne Police Department have the subjects, Cody Allen King, 22, and Justin Michael Bull, 22, both of Princess Anne, in custody, reports the Salisbury Daily Times.

The man who refused met them with his handgun, Karemore Pharmacy owner Wasim Amir, says he saw the men enter with ski masks and knew there was a robbery in progress.

“The man with the rifle ordered everyone down on the ground,” Amir said, “including one customer, a woman, who happened to be in the store.” With that, Amir pulled his handgun from a desk drawer and walked out to meet the men.

“When he saw my revolver,” said Amir, “he yelled to the other man to run, saying ‘He has a gun’ and both of them started running away.”

Although the pharmacist fired one shot, police said no one was hurt in the incident. Both King and Bull are charged with armed robbery among a host of other crimes.

Amir told local media he has owned Karemore since 2001, during which time it has been robbed twice.
