V Seven steps up .224 Valkyrie game with new 18-inch barrels

V Seven Weapon Systems expands its accessories adding the 18-inch .224 Valkyrie Match Barrel to its lineup.
Constructed from 416R stainless steel, the medium contour V Seven Match Chamber features a lapped bore with melonited barrel extension and 1:7 twist. Touting 1/2×28-inch threads, the barrel weighs in at 31.8-ounces though a fluting option is also available for an even lighter feel. V Seven said the Valkyrie barrel came as demand for more Valkyrie products has skyrocketed.

“Demand for a quality .224 Valkyrie barrel is at an all time high so it was time for V Seven to step in and fill that void. Whether you’re going for an all V Seven build or just upgrading an existing rifle, this is the barrel you want to maximize the potential accuracy of the .224 Valkyrie round,” V Seven said in a news release.
The barrel ships with a V Seven 17-4 stainless pin-on low profile gas block and gas tube. The Standard Valkyrie Match Barrel retails for $458 while the Fluted Valkyrie Match Barrel $583.
