Shadow Systems releases Limited Edition Thin Blue Line Pistol

Shadow Systems commits to donating $7,500 to law enforcement charities via a new Limited Edition Thin Blue Line Pistol series.

Shadow Systems is offering up five total pistols, retailing for $1,500 each. All proceeds from each sale will go directly to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund or to a law enforcement charity of the buyer’s choice.

The Thin Blue Line Pistol boasts an optics ready window cut slide, working with Trijicon RMR or Holosun red dot optics. The window cut on the slide highlights the blue-lined threaded fluted DLC barrel held within the Glock frame. The frame itself has been tweaked to include an enhanced traction stippled grip with a double undercut and scalloping around the magazine release button.

The gun also sports index pads on each side for a more comfortable fit in the hand. The pistol’s features are topped off with a Shadow Systems Elite Flat-Faced Aluminum Trigger with blue coating. The trigger is tuned to 4 to 4.5-pound pull weight. The pistol is machined from 17-4 stainless steel and finished with a DLC coating for durability.

Shadow Systems says its team is comprised of formed police and military veterans and as such continually looks for ways to give back to those communities.

“Our team has the utmost respect for our law enforcement community. We acknowledge how difficult their job is and are happy to have the opportunity to support their community with the release of this pistol. I am hopeful that our modest donation will find its way to provide some small relief to the families of those heroes who have fallen in the line of duty,” Trevor Roe, Shadow Systems General Manager said in a news release.
