Browning expands its X-Bolt rifle line, adding a variant specifically created for long distance hunters in the X-Bolt Pro Long Distance Range Rifle.

The X-Bolt Pro Long Distance Range Rifle is a bolt-action firearm boasting a Second Generation carbon fiber stock, textured gripping surfaces and a Cerakote Burnt Bronze Finish. Featuring a stainless steel and Cerakote Burnt Bronze barrel and receiver, the X-Bolt Pro Long Distance Range Rifle offers a 26-inch heavy sporter contour barrel.

Using a proprietary lapping process, Browning’s barrel delivers an enhanced bore finish that is touted as improving accuracy “straight from the box.” The barrel also incorporates a free-floated and hand chambered design. The barrel is topped with a threaded muzzle brake and ships with a thread protector when the muzzle brake is no longer needed. The X-Bolt Pro Long Distance Range Rifle tops its design off with a spiral fluted bolt body and bolt handle.

Browning says the X-Bolt Pro Long Distance Range Rifle comes in eight popular calibers to include: .300 Win Mag, 7mm Rem Mag, 28 Nosler, 26 Nosler, 300 WSM, 270 WSM, 6mm Creedmoor and 6.5 Creedmoor.

Available from Browning, X-Bolt Pro Long Distance Range Rifle’s pricing starts at $2,099.
