POF-USA debuts new two-stage trigger

Answering the calls of competition shooters, POF-USA brings a new two-stage trigger to its lineup matching the style and weight of the company’s single stage trigger.

POF-USA says the two-stage trigger comes pre-assembled in an anodized aluminum housing. The set-up features play reducing rubber feet which offers a quick installation, according to the company. Designed for competition, hunting or tactical shooters the trigger’s moving components use American A2 tool steel that is wire EDMed and nitride heat-treated. This construction delivers both durability as well as corrosion resistance. POF-USA’s two stage trigger sports a 2-pound first stage and a 2.5-pound second stage resulting in an overall pull weight of 4.5-pounds.

The two-stage trigger boasts custom-fit stainless steel KNS Precision Anti-walk Pins created for standard AR and POF-USA ambidextrous lowers. It’s important to note that the two-stage trigger is not compatible with DPMS 308 lowers with straight trigger guards or Sig 716 lowers.

POF-USA said its two-stage trigger was born from competition shooters demanding a system that would elevate their performance on the range.

“Many in the competition shooting realms have hailed the two stage trigger as their preferred style,” POF-USA said in a statement. “Two stage triggers have a brief amount of slack that can be taken up before hitting a defined ‘wall,’ at which point the shot can be withheld until the perfect moment.”
