The West Virginia-based Kent Cartridge has introduced new high performance turkey shotshells called the TK7 Penetrator, the company said in press release.

The new loads feature #7 tungsten pellets that have a density 38 percent greater than lead. The denser pellets create greater knockdown power yet lighter load and more manageable recoil, the company said.

The new 3-inch loads will be offered in both 12 gauge and 20 gauge. The 12 gauge load has 1 5/8 ounces and the 20 gauge load has 1 3/8 ounces of # 7 tungsten shot. Both have muzzle velocities of 1,100 fps.

Gobbler’s Beware! The shells are packaged five rounds per box and will be available in the spring at independent retailers across the country.
