The celebrated firearms instructor showed off his inner nerd with a custom double stack 9mm that looks as if it was crafted with space junk. “I asked for R2D2 crushed up and made into a gun,” noted Costa, referring of course to the storied astromech droid from the Star Wars franchise.

A build from Guncrafter Industries, the gun seems to be one of their Hellcat X2 Commanders that features a 17+1 9mm capacity, tons of lightening cuts and match work.

The coating work, which gives the gun its space opera feel, is by Hillbilly 223 Cerakote.
