Henry Repeating Arms marks the 100th anniversary of the Cody Stampede Rodeo by releasing a commemorative, exclusive 100th Anniversary Cody Stampede Rodeo lever action rifle in .45 Colt.

The lever action rifles are embellished with scrollwork engravings on the silver receivers with the scrollwork encapsulated by a 24K gold-filled lasso motif created by Baron Engraving. The top of the receiver boasts a “1919 | Cody Stampede Centennial | 2019” engraving as well.

Using Henry Arms’ Big Boy Silver platform as its basis, the Cody Stampede rifles offer a blued steel octagonal barrel, fully adjustable semi-buckhorn sights and a brass bead front sight. The rifle comes together with a fancy-grade American walnut stock.

“Cody, Wyoming is one of those places in this country that just oozes American history and a distinct Old West frontier vibe, and it’s a pleasure to celebrate that history with them,” said Henry President and Owner Anthony Imperato in a news release. “We really appreciate the great folks at the Cody Stampede Rodeo choosing our rifles for their centennial anniversary, and hopefully they will go a long way to preserving this important American heritage for another 100 years.”

The Cody Stampeded Rodeo is one of the nation’s longest running successful professional rodeos. With 50 rifles available to the public, all proceeds from sales of the lever action rifle will be given to preserve the history of Cody, Wyoming also known as the “Rodeo Capital of the World.”

The rifles retail for $1,919.
