Dickinson Arms unveiled a new side-by-side shotgun into its Plantation series, launching the SXR model for enthusiasts, collectors and hunters.

The SXR joins the Plantation lineup, already boasting the SX and PEB models. The Plantation SXR offers several bored models for fans to choose from including.410 and 12-, 16-, 20-, 28 gauge. The SXR is decked out in a sleek wood stock in a Turkish walnut with a hand-engraved English scroll on the receiver. The receiver takes it one further step with a bone-charcoal case hardened finish.

Hand built in Turkey, the SXR delivers a single/double trigger in addition to automatic ejectors. The shotgun works alongside 2 3/4-inch or 3-inch shells with the shooter’s choice of 24-inch, 26-inch, 28-inch or 30-inch barrel lengths.

Additionally, Dickinson Arms says the SXR benefits from its ability to be upgraded to suit shooter preferences.

“The ability to select an English, Price of Wales or Pistol Grip stock further enhances the individuality of this gun. Special order upgrades to Grade 3/4/5 walnut stock are also available,” the company said in a news release. “The new side-by-side Plantation SXR gives serious shooting enthusiasts, collectors and hunters what they have come to expect from Dickinson — a rare combination of beauty, engineering and performance.”

The Plantation SXR features a MSRP of $3,195.
