Federal delivers new models into its Heavyweight TSS ammo series, bringing five new loads designed for turkey hunters.

The new ammo includes blended loads with No. 7 and No. 9 or No 8. and 10 Tungsten Super Shot. The blends double the shot count, offering more hits on target than similar turkey loads, according to Federal. The loads provide a tungsten-alloy construction with 18 g/cc density that is 22-percent higher than standard tungsten with 56-percent more lead overall.

The design is topped off with a Flitecontrol Flex wad, working with ported and standard turkey chokes for consistent patterns. Federal says the result of this is lasting energy and higher velocities at extreme ranges.

“Federal is proud to introduce five new Premium Heavyweight TSS turkey shotshell loads, extending the revolutionary shells’ deadly reach on gobblers,” Federal said in a news release. “New blended and fine-shot payloads offer unprecedented pellet counts.”

Available in 12-gauge or 20-gauge, the Heavyweight TSS ammunition is priced between $39.95 and $63.95.
