Environ-Metal adds HEVI-X Strut turkey loads for bird hunters

Environ-Metal brings a new load specifically for turkey hunters, adding the HEVI-X Strut to its lineup of loads.
The HEVI-X Strut uses a tungsten design that delivers increased energy on turkeys. Environ-Metal says the payload of the HEVI-X Strut boasts greater energy than traditional lead pellets due to the company’s Heavier Than Lead #6 tungsten pellets layering over Heavier Than Steel HEVI-X #5 tungsten pellets. The construction offers a higher launch speed overall. The company says the load produces lethal results in an affordable package.
“Smoke that Tom with 50-percent more energy than conventional #6 lead and all the loaded pellets of TSS #7 turkey loads at half the price,” Environ-Metal said in a news release. “More lethal pellets on target at a price that makes sense!”
The loads work with the company’s HEVI-Shot Turkey choke tubes and are available in 12-gauge, 20-gauge and .410. The HEVI-X Strut ammo ships in 5-count boxes. No word yet on pricing.
