Federal expands its Top Gun target shotshell line with new loads specifically designed for sporting clay shooters.
The Top Gun Sporting load comes in 12, 20, and 28-gauge as well as .410. With the loads created to suit sporting clay shooters, Federal’s ammo creates high velocities with less felt recoil. Featuring hard pellets, the loads offer Federal’s primer paired with a unique wad column. The result, according to the ammo maker, is consistent patterns.
With warmer temperatures on the horizon, the Top Gun Sporting loads bring new options to competitive and recreational shooters.
“For decades, Top Gun loads have been pulverizing even the most challenging clay targets,” Federal said in a news release. “Now shooters can get that same consistent, trusted performance with Top Gun Sporting, loads specifically designed for sporting clays. They push their payloads fast to shorten leads, yet reduce felt recoil to allow for quicker follow-up shots.”
The Top Gun Sporting Loads retail between $8.95 and $13.95.
