Taurus Team Captain Jessie Harrison sweeps US National Steel Championship

Competitive shooter and Taurus Team Captain Jessie Harrison claimed two top titles at the U.S. National Steel Championship held in Covington, GA in early April.

Harrison took home a division title and Ladies Open, competing against 460 shooters with her Taurus PT 1911 pistols chambered in 9mm. Harrison took the overall win in the Single Stack division, going head to head with both male and female competitors in addition to snagging first place in the Ladies Open Division. The win launched Harrison to her 9th Ladies Open National Championship victory.

The recent titles add to Harrison’s accolades including Steel Challenge World Speed Shooting Championship wins, USPSA and US ISPC national champion titles and Bianchi Cup win. Harrison also sports the title of first USPSA Lady Grand Master.

Harrison’s Taurus PT 1911 pistols were built for each division with one prepped for single stack and the other customized for Open Class.
