New for 2021: Match-Grade CZ 457 MTR Precision Rimfire Rifle

Intended for rimfire competition shooting, CZ-USA is bringing its match-grade MTR chamber to its popular 22 LR 457 series bolt guns.

Using a 16.2-inch cold hammer-forged barrel and distinctive Manners carbon fiber stock, the .457 Varmint Precision Trainer MTR is billed as "an affordable, match-chambered rifle that's ready to compete right out of the box." Standard features include a fully user-adjustable trigger that can be tweaked for weight, creep, and over-travel. The rifle also has a 5-shot detachable magazine, 11mm dovetail rails for optics, and 1x28 TPI pitch threads on the muzzle for devices and suppressors.

Weight is 7.5 pounds and overall length is 42 inches. The swappable 455-type barrel uses a 1:16 twist. The bolt has a 60-degree throw to better accommodate optics with a larger ocular bell diameter. (Photo: CZ-USA)
