Pennsylvania-based IWI US recently announced it was importing a small batch of Galil ACE 21 pistols chambered in 5.56 NATO.

Introduced in 2018, the large format pistol uses a long-stroke gas system, utilizes an 8.3-inch chrome-lined cold-hammer-forged barrel, and weighs some 7.6 pounds with a steel receiver that includes a polymer insert. Using fully adjustable tritium sights with a front post and two-dot rear aperture, they have a full-length two-piece Picatinny top rail, closed rotating bolt, and a reciprocating charging handle on the left side. The model advertised by the company includes a removable side-folding SB Tactical stabilizing brace and uses a metal-body "Rock-N-Lock" 35-round magazine, rather than the original variant which shipped with a Magpul P-MAG.

"We decided to bring in 500 of the legendary ACE 21 (Semi Auto of course GAP556RNLSB) These pistols will ship with 1 Factory New Rock-N-Lock Galil ACE magazine," said IWI US last Friday on social media. "Yes, we brought in a lot more magazines."
