Minnesota's Maxim Defense was in Houston last weekend with a bunch of new stuff including the MD9 pistol series and brace/stock options for the CZ BREN 2.

Maxim says the new MD9 was engineered to fit the growing demand for compact AR9-style rifles for both today’s Military and commercial market. Available with a brace for those seeking a pistol or CQB stock for stamp collectors, the MD9 has a 5.8-inch free-floating barrel inside Maxim's custom M-Rax and M-Slot compatible handguard. They use Glock 9mm double stacks of G19 length and longer and come standard with an ALG Combat trigger and Radian charging handle and selector.

MSRP on the MD9 is $1995.

Besides a better take on the AR9, Maxim also had new stock and brace options for the CZ BREN 2, which required a wider base than a standard AR15 lower to fit. (Photo: Chris Eger/Guns.com)
