FN America recently showed off a flavor option for its SCAR series rifles as well as its new third-generation FN 15

In the above video, shot on location at the 151st NRA Annual Meetings in Houston over Memorial Day weekend, Guns.com got the scoop on the new MultiCam SCARs. Augmenting the already standard black and FDE options, the Crye Precision MultiCam pattern will be available for all current non-reciprocating charging handle consumer models including the 5.56 NATO SCAR 16S, the 7.62 SCAR 17S, and the 7.62/6.5 CM SCAR 20S.

FN 15 DMR3

Besides its black, gray, and FDE color choices, the new FN 15 DMR3 series rifles come standard with a redesigned Hybrid-profile 18-inch barrel with a SureFire ProComp muzzle brake and a Geissele two-stage trigger.

Other features include FN’s custom furniture, a Radian Raptor-LT ambidextrous charging handle, and Radian Talon ambidextrous safety selector. FN says the 14.6-inch aluminum handguard uses Hodge Defense’s wedge-lock technology "for an extremely rigid setup that minimizes deflection and allows for a fully free-floated barrel, further aiding accuracy."

FN says the 18-inch cold-hammer-forged chrome-lined barrel uses a 1:8 twist and what the company refers to as a Hybrid-profile "that provides the just-right balance between rigidity for accuracy and a weight light enough for quick maneuverability." The series uses a rifle-length gas system with a pinned gas block and H buffer. (Photo: Chris Eger/Guns.com)

The asking price on the new FN 15 DMR3s runs from $2,152 for the basic black to $2,328 for the more colorful models.
