Beretta recently celebrated its birthday by making a one-of-a-kind Model 92 in wood, steel, and Diamond Like Carbon coating.

While we don't have a lot of information about this one-off 92FS Fusion model other than its all-over DLC coating – usually just reserved for barrels – we do know Beretta marked its 496th anniversary with its release, and both the video and photos are breathtaking.

"A unique masterpiece featuring a special DLC (Diamond-like Carbon) coating, providing not only a contemporary look and feel, but also superior resistance to aging, corrosion, and scratches," said Beretta of the sleek 9mm. "A modern classic masterpiece, featuring custom handmade ebony wood grips with mother-of-pearl inserts, reproducing the initials of the owner and the crest of his family."

Drink it in.

As noted by the company, "In 1526, Mastro Bartolomeo Beretta (1490-1565/68) of Gardone Val Trompia, Brescia, Italy, received 296 ducats as payment for 185 arquebus barrels sold to the Arsenal of Venice. Although there is a history of Beretta products’ production in the 1500s, this particular moment in our history is the first documented sale of Beretta products in the known world, and it is the foundational point from which our company began its commanding presence in the firearms manufacturing industry."
