With an estimated 52,000 industry professionals attending the 45th Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show, you knew there had to be a good collection of service and working K9s at SHOT 2023.

The show, which took place Jan. 17-20 at the Venetian Expo and Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, spanned 13.9 miles of aisles over four days, and we were eager to view everything new (and new-ish) that there was in the industry.

Our team, besides roaming the 816,000 square feet of floors packed with exhibitors from 2,500 companies (Guns.com included), also managed to grab a few quick shots of some great doggies.

Did You Know the VA does not cover the costs of a service dog?

Besides individual service dogs, a lot of these guys came from the Rescue 22 Foundation, which provides the "highest quality, task-trained service dogs in order to address the mental and physical health of our nation’s combat veterans."

Did you know the VA does not cover the costs of a service dog? That's where groups like R22 come in. And a cool thing is that the Foundation told us they will never take funds or ask a veteran to fundraise to cover the costs associated with receiving a service dog.

Remember, be safe, and don’t pet a service dog.
