Pennsylvania-based Auto-Ordnance this week announced a pair of new 1911 additions to its catalog.

The Kahr Arms subsidiary debuted the new Cold Dead Hands and Tanker models, both standard Government-sized A1-style pistols chambered in .45 ACP. However, that is where the similarities end.

Tanker 1911

The new Tanker from Auto-Ordnance is a very GI-style 1911 featuring a curved mainspring housing, basic 1940s-style military sights, “U.S” engraved checkered wood grips, and classic pattern trigger, grip safety, and controls.
