A member of the Beretta family, the Stoeger brand has been quietly updating its carry handgun offerings in the past few years and now is a competitor in the micro 9mm field.

We stopped by Stoeger's booth at the NRA Annual Meetings last week in Indianapolis and got the details on the new STR-9MC. Based on the company's already proven STR-9 series of polymer-framed striker-fired double stack 9mm handguns, the new STR-9MCs run just 6.1 inches overall, while hitting the scales at 18.5 ounces.
