Georgia-based Heritage Manufacturing on Tuesday announced a new installment of its curious Rancher carbine series – now with a top Picatinny rail and a threaded barrel.

The new Heritage Tactical Rancher blends the wooden furniture, sling swivels, and 16-inch hammer-forged barrel of the preceding Rancher series with the company's Tactical Cowboy revolver offering, adding optics and suppressor-ready capabilities. The overall package supports .22 Magnum or .22 LR cylinders and ships with a nylon sling.
