Offered in at least 15 popular hunting calibers, the newest addition to Savage's 110 series bolt-action rifle line ships with a full-coverage Houge stock. 

The new Savage 110 Trail Hunter series all use a Tungsten Cerakoted barreled action with a button-rifled medium-heavy barrel that includes a threaded muzzle. Shipping sans iron sights, two-piece Weaver-style bases are installed for optics. Other standard features are Savage's 2.5 to 6-pound user-adjustable AccuTrigger pack, a three-position tang safety, and a detachable box magazine.

Savage points out that the full coverage OD Green rubber overmold on the stock "provides the user with a superior hold on the rifle in all conditions," while the Cerakote ceramic coating on the barreled action "helps to seal out the worst that Mother Nature can dish out." (All photos: Savage) 


When it comes to caliber options and barrel length, the Trail Hunter will be offered in an 18-inch model chambered in .350 Legend, 20-inch models in .400 Legend and .450 Bushmaster, 22-inchers in .223 Rem, .243 Rem, 6.5 CM, 7mm-08, 7mm PRC, .270 Win, .308 Win, and 30-06; as well as 24-inch variants in 6.5 PRC, .300 WSM, 7mm Rem Mag, and .300 Win Mag. Magazine capacity varies between two and four rounds, depending on caliber.
