New to Beretta's catalog for 2024 will be a suppressor-ready tactical variant of the storied gunmaker's 92XI, or "9211," series pistols.

The single-action-only Beretta 92XI SAO Tactical builds on the modern follow-up to the limited edition 92 Billennium SAO which was introduced in 2001 – a gun often described by collectors as the "best 92 ever made." Like the two 92XI models released earlier this year, the new Tactical includes all the "X" series features that the company had previously introduced in the 92X Performance model: an optics-ready slide, slim Vertec frame, and DLC coated trigger internals – blended with a crisp single-action-only trigger with a flat bow and a manual frame-mounted safety lever, ideal for carrying "cocked and locked."

Setting it apart is an extended 1/2x28 TPI threaded barrel and suppressor-height sights. Finished in an H-series Cerakote, the 92XI SAO Tactical has a two-tone aesthetic.

With a 5.1-inch threaded barrel, the full-sized 92XI SAO Tactical has an overall length of 8.7 inches. This gives it a roomy 6.1-inch sight radius. (All photos: Beretta)
