The rifle is being offered by Bob Hritz of Lilly's Tombstone Memories, a brick and mortar gun store located on historic Allen Street in Tombstone, Arizona.

Hritz is no stranger to selling highly-sought-after firearms on Guns.com. Last year, he sold a number of beautiful guns, including a John Wayne Commemorative Presentation Model Single Action Army revolver. It was one of seven produced, and it didn't last long on our site.

The rifle is chambered in .38-40. Compared to the other popular caliber of its day, the .44-40, the .38-40 was faster, flatter shooting, and capable of longer ranges.
