Semi-Auto 22 Grade II Octagon

The Browning Semi-Auto .22 Grade II Octagon is a semi-automatic hunting rifle chambered in .22 LR.

It was originally manufactured by FNH in 1914 off a design by John Browning, and is thought to be a classic firearm because it was the first semi-automatic rifle to be chambered in the popular .22 LR cartridge. The SA-22 and its variations are believed to have sold over 500,000 models since its creation.

The Semi-Auto .22 Grade II Octagon features a steel receiver with a satin nickel finish. The take-down design receiver also features scroll engraving, which makes it a widely collected gun in Belgium where it was originally produced.

The Grade II Octagon’s barrel is 19.25″ and is drilled and tapped for a cantilever scope mount. The stock is American walnut and comes in a glossed finish. The rifle has adjustable sights with a gold bead front sight.

Browning Arms Company is a Utah-based firearms maker that produces a variety of a wide variety of shotguns, rifles, and pistols. The company is currently a subsidiary of Fabrique Nationale de Herstal.
