X-Bolt Micro Hunter

The Browning X-Bolt Micro Hunter is a bolt-action rifle chambered in eight calibers. The Micro-Hunter is also offered in a left-handed model.

The rifle was designed with smaller shooters in mind, and is targeted towards women and children. The X-Bolt Micro Hunter features a shorter length of pull and weighs less than its parent model.

The rest of the features are the same, though the Mico has fewer caliber options. The Micro Hunter is one of 18 variations on the X-Bolt rifle series offered by Browning. Browning recommends the rifle for hunting.

The Micro Hunter features a free floating barrel with a low-luster blued finish that is either 20″ or 22″, depending on the caliber. The barrel is hand chambered and includes a target crown to protect the rifling. The overall length of the rifle varies from 39″ (when chambered in .22-250 Rem.) to 41.5″ for magnum calibers. The rifle features a satin-finished walnut stock with a compact 13.625″ length of pull.

The Micro Hunter features the X-Bolt’s signature Feather Trigger, a screw adjustable trigger that can be set from 3-5 lbs. The rifle also comes with a recoil pad, detachable rotary magazine and factory installed sling swivel studs. The top-tang safety and bolt unlock button serve to allow the bolt to be unlocked and opened with the safety in the on safe position.
