The CZ 452 FS is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .17 HMR, .22 LR and .22 WMR. The FS is unique among CZ’s 452 series for having a carbine length barrel, known to ease maneuverability but decrease accuracy in long distance shooting.
The FS comes out of the factory with a cold hammer-forged barrel and a trigger that is adjustable for weight of pull, just like every 452 model by CZ. The 452 FS was discontinued in 2011.
The 452 FS features a checkered Mannlicher-Schönauer-style stock on the pistol grip and forearm to add stability. The carbine barrel is 20.8″ and has a blued finish. The rifle has adjustable iron sights with an integrated scope 11mm dovetail section cut into the steel receiver. A manual firing pin block acts as the safety. The detachable magazine has a capacity of five.
Česká zbrojovka translates as “Czech Army”, so it comes as no surprise then that CZ firearms has a long history of supplying weapons to militaries around the globe. The CZ name can be found on a variety of handguns, smallbore and bigbore rifles, military rifles and submachine guns.
