P-07 Duty

The CZ P-07 Duty is a semi-automatic large-frame pistol chambered in 9mm and .40 S&W. The P-07 Duty is produced by CZ-USA, a Kansas City based subsidiary of the Czech arms manufacturer Česká zbrojovka Uherský Brod. CZ touts that the P-07 is the next generation of CZ pistols (replacing the CZ 75). Instead of a frame constructed of steel, it uses polymer. Like the original, CZ recommends the Model P-07 Duty for law enforcement or personal-protection.

The P-07 Duty features a cold hammer forged barrel, meaning a mandrel was carefully passed through the bore to carve the rifled grooves. It has the CZ Omega trigger system. This system includes a de-cocking lever, which is installed on the gun and can change the trigger from single to double-action, and comes with a manual safety, which must be installed and will replace the de-cocking. The system allows the carrier to safely carry the gun loaded and ready with the double-action, or slightly delayed with the manual safety. And it is equipped with a Picatinny rail for easy mounting of accessories, and fixed 3-dot sights, but tritium night sights are also available.

Two new additions of the P-07 Duty were added and introduced at the 2012 SHOT Show. The first is a threaded barrel option, so users can attach a suppressor. And the second is an OD green frame.
