500 Pump Action Slugster

Mossberg 500 Pump Action Slugster

The Mossberg 500 Pump Action Slugster is a pump-action hunting shotgun chambered in 12 gauge and 20 gauge.

The model 500 is a series of shotguns marketed as an inexpensive alternative for hunters and the Slugster itself costs around $400. It has a fully rifled bore, which is great for discharging slugs.

The Slugster is available with either a wooden or synthetic stock and with a Mossy Oak, blue or camo finish. The sights vary from vent rib, rifle to no sights and some versions have only scope mounts. It is also available as a combo that includes two barrels, so the shooter can change Gauge. And, it has an ambidextrous safety.

Mossberg recommends the Slugster for hunting deer.
