The Mossberg 500 Pump-Action Turkey Thug is a pump-action shotgun chambered in 12 gauge caliber. The 500 Turkey Thug line is one of 38 Mossberg 500 Pump-Action variants.
What makes the Thug unique is that it features a 24″ steel barrel and a synthetic stock. The 500 Turkey Thug is equipped with Mossberg’s patented adjustable trigger system. This trigger, touted by the manufacturer as the first of its kind for pump-action shotguns, is user-adjustable to under 3 pounds.
The Mossberg 500 Pump-Action variants share a number of features including fiber optic sights that are brightly colored and easy to see, an ambidextrous safety, and a ported barrel, which reduces recoil and minimize muzzle jump.
