Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag Pump Action Combo Series

The Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag Pump Action Combo Series is a pump-action hunting shotgun chambered in 12 gauge. It comprises three of 21 Mossberg 835 Ulti-Mag Pump-Action variants.

What makes this Pump Action Combo Series unique is that it features three different combos, each of which includes interchangeable barrels.

The turkey/deer combo employs two 24″ barrels (one with rifled bore) and a dual comb wooden stock. The turkey/waterfowl combo features a 24″ standard barrel, a 28″ rifled barrel and a synthetic stock. The general combo model offers a 24″ ported barrel and a 24″ fluted barrel. Each variant is finished in Mossy Oak New Break-Up and includes Ulti-Full tubes.

Another noteworthy feature on 835 Combo models is the available adjustable trigger system. This trigger, touted by Mossberg as the first of its kind for pump-action shotguns, is adjustable to under 3 pounds. All 835 Ulti-Mag Turkey models also come with fiber-optic sights that are adjustable for windage and elevation.

Features common to the 835 Ulti-Mag series includes over-bored barrels, meaning all barrels are bored to 10 gauge size lieu of the standard 12 gauge bore. Mossberg claims that the over-bored barrel reduces felt recoil and improves pattern performance. All 835 Ulti-Mags also include ported barrels (8 holes) for reduced recoil and minimal muzzle-jump. 835 Ulti-Mags and are accompanied by interchangeable chokes and a free gun lock.
