Seven Predator

The Remington Model Seven Predator is a bolt-action hunting rifle chambered in .17 Rem. Fireball, .204 Ruger, .223 Rem., .22-250 Rem. and .243 Win. The Model Seven is a family of hunting rifles that branched from the Model 700 and the Predator differs is it has a synthetic stock fully painted in a Mossy Oak Brush finish. The Predator also offers the X-Mark Pro Trigger system, which has a pull weight of 3.5 pounds with 2 pounds of adjustment to suit the shooter’s individual needs. It also has a fluted magnum contour barrel that Remington says offers long shot repeatability and rapid cooling. Otherwise it uses what Remington calls the “”three rings of steel”” action, which means the rim is securely encased by the bolt face, the front of the cartridge sits in barrel, and it all, of course, is secured in the receiver. The design is intended to provide smoother cycling.
