savage Arms Axis rifle

The Savage Axis is a bolt-action rifle chambered in eight calibers, and is one of eight rifles in Savage’s Axis Series (previously the ‘Edge’ Series).

Savage Arms was founded in 1894, and is headquartered in Westfield, Massachusetts.

The Axis features a carbon steel or stainless steel barrel and a synthetic stock, both finished in matte black or camouflage.

Additional features include a detachable box magazine, recoil pad, contoured grips, and swivel studs. The Axis is also drilled and tapped for scope mounts.
