Model 11 FXP3

The Savage Model 11 FXP3 is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .204 Ruger, .22-250 Rem., .270 WSM, .300 WSM, .308 Win. Additonal calibers available inlcude .243 Win., .223 Rem., and 7mm-08 Rem. The Model 11 FXP3 is one of 15 rifles in Savage’s Package Series. Savage Arms was founded in 1894, and is headquartered in Westfield, Massachusetts.

The FXP3 features a blued carbon steel barrel (24″ in magnum calibers) and a matte black synthetic stock. Additional features include an internal box magazine, cut checkering on grips and forend, swivel studs, and Savage’s AccuTrigger system. The AccuTrigger system features a dual-stage trigger design in which the first (vented) trigger acts to disengage a safety mechanism. Once this occurs, the second trigger can be depressed in order to activate the firing pin – the trigger assembly is also user-adjustable for weight of pull. The Model 11 FXP3 also includes a 3-9x40mm scope, mounted and bore-sighted.

Savage recommends the FXP3 for general hunting.
