Model 111 BTH

The Savage Model 111 BTH is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .25-06 Rem., .270 Win., .22-250 Rem., and .30-06 Springfield. The Model 111 BTH is one of 12 rifles in Savage’s Hunter Series. Savage Arms was founded in 1894, and is headquartered in Westfield, Massachusetts.

The BTH features a 22 inch blued carbon steel barrel and a satin-finished wood stock. Additional features include a hinged floorplate magazine, vented forend, thumbhole stock, swivel studs, and Savage’s AccuTrigger system. The AccuTrigger system features a dual-stage trigger design in which the first (vented) trigger acts to disengage a safety mechanism. Once this occurs, the second trigger can be depressed in order to activate the firing pin. The trigger assembly is also user-adjustable for weight of pull. The Model 111 BTH is drilled and tapped for scope mounts.

Savage recommends the Model 111 BTH for general hunting.
