Model 12 BTCSS

The Savage Model 12 BTCSS is a bolt-action rifle chambered in .204 Ruger, .223 Rem., and .22-250 Rem. The Model 12 BTCSS is one of nine rifles in Savage’s Varmint 12 Series. Savage Arms was founded in 1894, and is headquartered in Westfield, Massachusetts.

The BTCSS features a stainless steel barrel finished in high luster. The BTCSS also includes a satin wood laminate stock with vented forend and stock thumbhole.  Additional features include a detachable box magazine, swivel studs, and Savage’s AccuTrigger system. The AccuTrigger system features a dual-stage trigger design. The first (vented) trigger acts to disengage a safety mechanism, allowing the second trigger to be depressed in order to activate the firing pin. The trigger assembly is also user-adjustable for weight of pull. The Model 12 BTCSS is drilled and tapped for scope mounts.

Savage recommends the Model 12 BTCSS for varmint/general hunting.
